This is the Eminence speaker designed just for steel guitarists, and as recommended by noted steel guitarist, Travis Toy. The Eminence Company says, “This light weight ‘monster’ will handle up to 300 watts, while providing a clear low end, a midrange ‘bite’ that can cut through any mix, and a tight high-end with not shrillness to its bright-side.” It is constructed of the “rare earth” neodymium magnetic material now used to produce the sound that is replacing ferromagnetic material traditionally used for amplifier speakers. Note its “back-sparing” light weight of 7.7 lbs.!

These 8-ohm speakers were specifically selected by Jim Webb for use in his Webb amps (when he owned the Company). They were supplied by Eminence Speakers, being top-of-the-line in quality and installed in Webb amplifiers from 1995 to 2006. They are a true “cut-above” ferromagnetic speaker and will perform beautifully for you, being appropriate for any amp.
