Fender Stringmaster Quad 8.

I restored this quad-Fender many years ago, not being interested in selling it. I received it without a case, so built a very nice one for it (as shown in the pictures below). Over the years I have received many requests to sell it, but never came up with a price. I finally have “more or less). View pictures and read on.

I’ve been told by several Fender owners that this steel was apparently custom ordered, with Fender complying. Several of its features have been changed from other 4-neck models produced (again I’ve been told).

My efforts involved stripping the varnish from its ash wood, then reapplying a new finish. I had to re-chrome or replace a few of the cover plates because they were rusted beyond repair. Otherwise, the guitar is original. The guitar plays very well and everything functions on the guitar including its neck switches, pickups, tuning keys and volume and tone controls.
